STAYING CURRENT IN MY FIELD

Why is Continuing Education So Important?
Learning – A Lifelong Process

Recently I have been given the opportunity to upgrade my education to stay current in one of the fields in my line of work.

It’s easy to become complacent and be in the mindset that there may not be any more to learn.  Many years of being in the same vocation sometimes feels like certain aspects have not changed all that much.

Even small changes and new tools to help our vocation, and breathes new life into what we do on behalf of our clients.  It opens our minds and thought patterns to fresh ideas and new ways of thinking, making our everyday field of work more exhilarating.  Our newfound knowledge gives us a different edge on what we already practice, and new trends keep us current.

Change is good, so I would like to be a part of this great opportunity to learn new ways and methods to make advancement in my field.  I know I will benefit, but more importantly, my clients will benefit the most.

In just a few short weeks I will be taking part in a one-day symposium that will shed new light on some tools to help my delivery of treatment more effective for my clients.

I look forward to not only putting this newfound knowledge into my practice but also graciously sharing it with my clients who walk through my doors everyday.
